And I personally agree with them. There should have been a "Ribbentrop - Beck" pact rather than "Ribbentrop - Molotov" (colonel Józef Beck was the Polish foreign minister). It would not have been an easy decision though. It would mean a limitation of Polish sovereignty. On the other hand however the Ribbentrop - Molotov pact brought not just a limitation of our sovereignty, but its end altogether. For us an agreement with the Germans would have been the "lesser of the two evils". There are historians in Poland who believe that Poland should have come to terms with Germany. Apparently one group of Rutgers Univ students as a well, spoof of another rival student publication, published an article listing German WW2 era technical attainments and attached a leading student's name and picture without his knowledge. Question is, is anyone going to be expelled or even seriously charged in this "incident"? Well, Imagine the upheaval if some "far right" or even non-authorized moderate conservative campus publication did this.... Take a look at the latest Village Voice edition web site.
